heart holds strong memories

Scars of love gone wrong,
deeply in graving loss etched upon heart
Empty arms outstretched,
lacking embracement
.
Eyes of darkness,
hidden in hollowed shadows
Ears that hear,
nothing but deafening silence
.
Lips speaking but riddles,
lost deep within minds thoughts
Searching yet never finding,
what’s dead and gone forever
.
World where roses never bloom,
for romance has no need
In heart that died long ago
with your departure
