Winds herald change to come
bees no longer flitting,
collecting for the hive beyond..
already full of honey.
Morning Glories display their final
burst of buds -bloom as if to please,
leave a lasting memory in blue
against the cold images of winter.
Hydrangea seek to rest
as they fade into violet blue
ready to dry and adorn a
joy to the spirit.
Leaves create burnished shades of autumn
as they fly between the gleam of
sunlight and goldenrod.
Quiet walks on rippled, shore only
gulls soaring above-
Sea Heather gathered in ebb of tide.
