Bare feet leaking as they touch the cruel ground The disgust her body is speaking without making a sound The kiss of the breeze as it breathes from the night Sweeps away with stolen tears from the loss of will tonight The earth in ruin, slowly falling apart The dirty doings, they rend in two her heart The sky painted is the shade of twilight And it’s illuminating the path for the wingless angel tonight . Lips taste of honey, her eyes are another world Hips that hold no money, scars on the shadows of this girl The wings that carried this one heights within the sky Have deteriorated time by time with each and every lie Like a drought in a desert the water stopped falling And she’s without the release now that she stopped calling Day and night, day and night—both blend to be the same Soon she’ll lead you to the place from whence she came. .
